DAY-1: With the increasing representation of culturally linguisitically diverse (CLD) children in the schools, it becomes important to understand how to effectively support their educational needs. This workshop is intended to provide the tools for those working with CLD children to have a clear idea of appropriate assessment techniques and sociocultural influences that must be taken into account when dealing with the CLD population.

DAY-2: In this workshop participants will learn about when and how to write a bilingual educational evaluation. All mechanics having to do with this will be presented and will be tied to the importance of the pre-referral intervention process that enables systems to refer less children to special education.
