How do Live Webinars Work?
Live Webinars happen in real time. The advantage of a live Webinar is that the participant has the opportunity to ask the presenter questions during the presentation. This personalizes the experience and allows participants to also present comments, and concerns.
- Shortly after you register, you'll receive by E-Mail a link to the webinar for access via the Internet along with your password.
On the date and time of the Webinar, set aside a quiet space to listen and participate. Check your instructions on how access the Webinar. Please access the Webinar five minutes before it is scheduled to begin.
Do I need any special equipment?
For Live Webinars, a computer with speakers and Internet access (DSL recommended), each webinar uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) to listen, view and participate. Your computer is used to view/listen, interact with the speaker, and verify your participation in the presentation. Works with Windows, Mac, Linux and all browsers (No special plug-ins or downloads are required).
Do I need to take a test to receive CE credit?
No test is required for these Webinars.
- For participants requesting ASHA CE credit, after the seminar ends, fill out the evaluation form and the ASHA CEU Participant Form, fax or mail both forms to us within 5 days of Webinar completion. See below for fax mailing info.
What is the deadline for registration ? Registrations and payment must be received by the 2nd day before the Webinar is scheduled to take place.
