The following procedure will govern the issuance of CE credits for Text Based Self Study.

, as soon as the self-study material is received as you will have 60 days from receipt to complete your examination along with the additional forms provided and return directly to SLLLC. Once you email us, we will start the clock and expect the test within 60 calendar days.
- Remember, in order to be granted CEU credit we must have received the test or re-test, if applicable, no later than 60 calendar days from the date you confirmed receipt of the self-study material.
To view and print your Self-Study and documents, you will need a copy of Adobe® Acrobat® Reader®.
If you have access to the Internet and do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, please copy and past the following into your web browser http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html to download and install Adobe Reader.
Forms required for self-study completion; Post Test/Activity (only if requried by Orgnization ), and a Participant Evaluation form.
ASHA CE Participant Forms: ASHA requires that all participants requesting ASHA CEUs also complete a Learning Assessment. Without these and the above forms, SLLLC cannot report a participant’s CEUs to ASHA.

If professionals trained in second language acquisition (SLA) can be combined with a pre-referral intervention process, districts can more easily recognize learner differences and devise instruction that will meet specific educational needs instead of relying upon special education programs.

The ethnographic interview is a powerful tool to elicit culturally valid information about children’s language and cognitive function from culturally diverse parents --- information often not possible to obtain through the typical standard reliance upon standardized interviews or surveys.
