Synopsis:
This self-study deals with how Dual language instruction for young children provides many benefits and long-term gains in achievement.
Self-Study Objectives:
The objective of this self-study is an introduction to curriculum, instruction, strategies and assessment which should be thoughtfully planned and should include family partnerships and resources that incorporate literacy and cultural activities.

2. Select strategies important to the needs of young children and their developing language and learning conceptsp>
3. Select resources that help the child learn language and promote the cultural awareness of the two languages.
